With a handful of food, a man approaches a large wolf-dog and receives a hug.

A young man went on a tour of Howling Woods Farm in Jackson, New Jersey, and got to view some “very awesome” wolf dogs up close. He also got to see what it’s like to be hugged by a wolf!

Domestic bred wolves, abandoned and surrendered wolf dogs, and northern breed canines such as Siberian Huskies and Alaskan Malamutes are all rescued and placed by the non-profit organization. They also educate the general population about wolves and wolf-dogs.

I’m delighted these lovely rescued animals have a safe place to call home!
