The scorching heat of the sun can drain anyone’s energy. It is nice to see the beauty of nature but you better be prepared if you are intent on hiking or trekking, especially in a place without many plants like the Grand Canyon in Arizona.

Tourists visiting the mentioned location will require plenty of water to keep them hydrated on their long walk to the historical site.

With the sun’s heat and the long trek, it is not advisable for people to visit it without any water in their bags. And if people need a lot of water on their Grand Canyon tour, this does not exempt animals from the thirst and heat of the bright sunshine.

True, one squirrel has demonstrated that when it comes to quenching their thirst, animals can also do something to meet their needs.Along the Grand Canyon, a thirsty squirrel did the unthinkable and approached a person to drink from his water ottle.

The small creature approached the man and motioned for something.The little furry guy appeared to be fixated on the water ottle.Paul Camps, a man, recognized the tiny squirrel and noticed that it was acting strangely.When his girlfriend realized what was going on, she knelt down to reach the small animal.She drew the water ottle closer to the squirrel, who was waiting for her.

The animal graed the ottle and drank when it was close enough for the squirrel to reach. The squirrel appeared thirsty and was looking for a drink when Paul and his girlfriend arrived.

“The squirrel began to follow me and put its arms up to me like it wanted picking up, I passed my water bottle to my girlfriend so I could take a picture on my phone, as I did the squirrel began to put its arms up towards my girlfriend,” Paul shared to Storyful.

While drinking water from the bottle, the squirrel even touched the bottle to hold it steady. Its little paws were securing the bottle in place, intent on making the experience really good.

Dehydration is dangerous, and this animal must have been disoriented due to thirst.It was fortunate that Paul and his girlfriend were present to save the day.
