WITH SWOLLEN BELLIES, TWO TERRIFIED STRAY PUPPIES CLUNG TO EACH OTHER.

This story speaks about 2 helpless pups, who were found wandering the streets with swollen bellies!

The level of an essential blood protein called albumin of the dog  was very low as they were so malnourished.

Fortunately, the two dogs were discovered just in time by rescuers,who took them to a vet clinic!
Because they had never been around humans, the dogs were terrified of them.
So they just stared at one wall while clinging to another.

However, the pups were examined by the vet, who discovered that they had anemia from malnourishment and ticks.
The dogs would require extensive treatment, including blood transfusions.

The vet then drained the fluid from their swollen bellies after sedating the puppies to let them not feel the pain, as it was a very dangerous procedure.

Thankfully, it worked really well, and the puppies finally woke up an ate a normal meal. They now love their caretakers, and will be available for adoption when they are completely healed. What a happy ending.
