Puppy with Severe Head Injury And Dying in Gutter Rescued

The heart of a puppy. After collapsing in a gutter, his shattering cries were eventually heard, writes dogfull.

Animal Aid Unlimited, India, reported, “We received an urgent contact on our helpline reporting a puppy who had been heard howling from within a closed sewage gutter.”

“Our rescuers had to raise a massive slab of cement covering the gutter, and resting in the water was a dog who appeared to be gasping his final breaths, his snout falling into the water due to his weakness.”

His rescuers write, “We scooped him out but realized he had major neurological difficulties.”

Despite the fact that tiny Leo was safe, he couldn’t stand up straight and was constantly circling and falling over. They feared he would never be able to walk again. But, after a few days of being confused, this tenacious puppy began to re-learn how to walk.
