Adorable 7 days old foal is speedy, sassy and bouncy at the same time.
For any newcomers or non- horsey people that might come across this article, here is a little description of a Gypsy Vanner horse. The Gypsy Horse is usually, but not always, piebald. It may also be skewbald or any solid color; a solid- colored horse with white splashing on the
underbelly is called “Blagdon” or “splashed”.
There is no coat color requirement in the breed standard of the Irish Cob Society, Gypsy Cob Register, Gypsy Vanner Horse Society, Gypsy Horse Registry of America, or Australasian Gypsy Horse Society (Wikipedia). The country of origin of the breed is Ireland, however, due to the huge demand for it worldwide, it has been exported to a lot of other European countries and continents as well and you can find them in a lot of countries all over the world, similar to other popular breeds such as Friesians, Arabians, etc.
It is definitely one of the most beautiful ones in the world and in a lot of rankings that are being made by a lot of horse magazines, they are ranked amongst the most beautiful ones in the world. Compared to other breeds, I wouldn’t say it is very distinctive as a breed in the way that, as mentioned above, they have different coat colors, however, a horsey person would not have problems to distinguish the breed from the others.
The beautiful filly in the video below named Prada is one of the most beautiful young representatives of the breed. She is only 7 days old and full of energy, the same as a lot of other foals out there. She is really comfortable staying close to her mum and as shy as she seems, she also looks quite sassy and confident given the fact that at the video, she has been around only for a week.
