Rumba the Wonder Horse is ready for a nap. He fluffs up his blanket, tucks himself in and then gently lays down on his pillow. So sweet! I don’t know why but watching Rumba tucking himself in is very relaxing!

His human, Georgia Bruce, says Rumba is trained with positive reinforcement.

Positive reinforcement training involves
rewarding desired behavior in order to encourage it to be repeated in the future. This type of training is based on the principles of operant conditioning, which suggests that behavior can be influenced by its consequences. In Rumba’s case, he has learned that preparing for bed in a certain way leads to a comfortable and peaceful night’s sleep.

As a result, he continues to repeat this behavior.
The use of positive reinforcement training has
become increasingly popular in recent years as
people have recognized its benefits. It is a humane and effective way to train animals, and it can also be applied to humans. By focusing on positive behavior and rewarding it, individuals can be encouraged to adopt good habits and make positive changes in their lives.

Overall, Rumba the Wonder Horse is a shining
example of how smart horses can be. His ability to prepare for bed on his own is a testament to the power training as well. By using positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior, Georgia Bruce has trained a happy and well- behaved horse that is sure to inspire others.
