Cat Spends 5 Years Convincing Neighbors To Adopt Him.

A couple in England moved into a new home and discovered an unexpected visitor. “As soon as we moved in, this cat started appearing in the garden every day. He’d even be there at midnight or one o’clock in the morning, just sitting on the back doorstep,” Jen shared.

At first, Jen wasn’t keen on befriending the cat. Not only was she allergic to both dogs and cats, but she also had never had a pet growing up. Hoping to reunite the cat with his family, she tracked down his owners nearby. The cat, named Dudley, had lived with them since he was a kitten. With a cat door to come and go as he pleased, Dudley had clearly decided what pleased him most was spending time at Jen’s house.

Despite their efforts to shoo him away, Dudley remained determined to stay in their garden, no matter the bad weather or that he had a warm home nearby. “It was his choice to be outside our house,” Jen said.

It took Jen five years to warm up to Dudley.”As the years went on I just was so curious about this little creature that had decided we were his friends in some way. Before I knew it I had fallen in love with him.”
